Seat height is the number that decides table fit. At 19″ under a Standard-height Pangea's 26″ clearance, you get 7″ between the seat and the underside of the table — comfortable dining proportions.

A note on the published weight: the 13.4 lbs figure is per chair, not per set. A set of two ships at roughly 26.8 lbs.

Materials

Rubber wood frame with a linen upholstered seat (100% polyester).

They're made for Standard-height tables

The chairs are sized for the Standard 26″ leg clearance, which puts a Pangea at 30.5″ overall — normal dining height.

If you're ordering Counter (32″) or Coffee (14″) legs, these chairs are the wrong height and we don't currently make a stool or a lounge equivalent. Plan seating separately — see Choosing your leg height, and settle it before the table arrives rather than after.

How many you need

Seating by table size: 3×3 seats 4, 3×5 seats 6, 4×6 seats 8–10. Chairs come in twos, so that's 2, 3, or 4–5 sets.

Before ordering for a full table, check the room as well as the table — you want roughly 3 feet of clearance on every side people sit, and chairs are what consume it. See Will it fit my room?.

Buying them with a table

15% off the chairs when bought alongside a Pangea table. It applies automatically — there's no code. See Discounts, bundles, and how to save.

Assembly

The chairs need light assembly — a few minutes each, nothing like the table.
