Connecting two Pangea tables

Rails lift off any edge, so two Pangeas join into one surface — two 3×5s make a 3×10.5 or a 6.5×5.

The Pangea is modular on purpose. The rails lift off any edge, so two tables can be brought together into a single continuous playing surface rather than sitting as two tables pushed against each other.

What two 3×5s give you

Remove the rails on the edge where they meet, and two 3×5 tables become:

  • 3 × 10.5 — joined end to end, for a long table
  • 6.5 × 5 — joined side by side, for a wide one

The joined dimension isn't simply double, because removing the shared rails reclaims the space those rails occupied.

What to expect

Tune the rails after joining. This is the same alignment pass a single table needs out of the box, and it matters more across a seam — the two surfaces have to agree. Walk through Tuning your Pangea after assembly, paying particular attention to the vertical alignment step so accessories slide across the join without catching.

Play mats stay per-table. Mats are cut to a single vault's playable area, so a joined configuration uses each table's own mat rather than one large mat spanning the seam.

Rail accessories are unaffected. Cup holders, trays, and other Omnitrack items clamp to whatever rail remains, so they move to the outer edges of the combined surface.

A table doesn't change size on its own

Worth being clear, because "modular" gets read two ways: joining a second table is the expansion path. A 3×3 doesn't become a 3×5 by adding parts — the size you buy is the size that table stays. What you can do is put two of them together.

Planning a combined setup

Two things worth measuring before you commit:

  • Floor space. Add the overall footprints, not the playable areas — and leave clearance to walk and seat players around the outside.
  • Which edges you'll join. This decides whether you end up long or wide, and it's easier to decide before assembly than after.

If you're buying a second table specifically to combine it, send us your current model and what you're trying to end up with through our contact page, and we'll confirm the configuration works before you order.
