My assembly hardware never arrived
If you've already looked and it isn't there, we'll send a replacement set free of charge and there's nothing to send back. Skip to Getting a replacement set.
Before you do, it's worth two minutes on the checks below — most of the time the hardware did arrive, just not where people look for it.
Check the leg and frame cartons first
Hardware ships packed with the legs and frame, not loose in the main carton. This is the single most common reason it looks missing. Your table arrives in roughly three boxes, and the fasteners travel with the components they belong to rather than in one bag on top.
Worth checking, in order:
- Inside the leg carton, including under the foam or cardboard inserts.
- Taped to the frame or tucked into the frame packaging.
- Under the topper panels — bags can slide beneath them in transit.
- Inside the shipping material itself. Flatten the boxes before recycling; a small bag can sit inside a folded flap and be thrown out with the packaging.
If you've already broken down the boxes, that fourth one is worth a look in the recycling before you conclude it's gone.
See Where is the assembly hardware? for the packing detail.
Getting a replacement set
If it isn't in any of those places, message us through our contact page with:
- Your order number
- Which table you have — size and finish
- What's missing, if you know which specific fasteners. If you don't, say so and we'll send the full set for your model.
We ship a replacement set at no charge, and there's nothing to return. You don't need to send photos for this one — hardware is inexpensive and we'd rather get you building than have you photograph an empty box.
Don't substitute from the hardware store
We'd rather send you the right parts than have you improvise. The bolts are specified for the inserts they thread into, and an over-long or wrong-pitch fastener can strip an insert — which is a much bigger repair than the wait for the right bolt.
The one exception is the coffee-height (14″) leg bolts, where we have a standing offer: if yours don't thread correctly, buy the correct bolts locally and we'll reimburse you. Contact us before you buy so we can confirm the spec and sort the reimbursement.
If something is bent or stripped rather than missing
That's a different path — see Something is defective or not fitting right, and include a photo so we can see what happened.
