Where is the assembly hardware?
The assembly hardware ships with the table. On the larger tables it can be tucked in with the legs or the frame hardware rather than sitting loose in the main box — which is the most common reason it seems to be missing.
Where to look
- The leg box or leg packaging — hardware for the legs often travels with them
- With the frame hardware, if you have a separate frame component
- Inside the packing material in the main box — check under and inside the padding before you flag it as missing
- Taped to a component rather than bagged separately
Open every box fully before concluding anything is absent. It's worth five minutes now rather than a stalled build later.

A tip for assembly day
Lay out all the hardware before you start building. Sorting the fasteners against the instructions at the beginning means any gap turns up at minute five instead of minute fifty, when the table is half-assembled on your floor.
