When you get charged
Payment is taken when you place the order. That includes pre-orders — there's no deposit-now, balance-later split, and no second charge when the item ships.
Why that matters on a pre-order
Most tables are on pre-order, and the ship date lives on the product page. So if you order a pre-order table today, you pay today and the table ships on the date shown on its page.
It's worth being deliberate about that. You're paying in full ahead of a ship date rather than reserving a place in a queue. If the date on the product page doesn't work for you, it's better to wait and order closer to it than to order now and hope.
You can spread the cost
Shop Pay Installments is available at checkout on US orders — interest-free split payments under $1,000, and 3, 6, or 12 monthly payments with interest above that. Since every full table is over $1,000, a table falls into the interest-bearing group. See Paying over time.
That's a financing arrangement between you and the provider. We're still paid in full at purchase, so nothing about your lead time or ship date changes.
Prices are per-item, and two discounts apply automatically
There are no discount codes. Two discounts exist and apply on their own:

Shipping is calculated at checkout
Freight cost depends on where it's going, so it's calculated at checkout rather than quoted as a flat rate. There's no free-shipping threshold — see How much does shipping cost?.
If you need to change or cancel
Because payment is taken upfront, cancelling before shipment means a refund rather than simply voiding an order. That's normally straightforward while the order hasn't moved — see Can I cancel or change my order? and How refunds work.
